ABOUT THE ROLE
AfricaWorks operates an ecosystem of complementary real estate businesses in Africa:
• AfricaWorks (AW) - leading Flexible Office & Hospitality operator (coliving & coworking)
• AfricaWorks Investment Partners (AWIP) - Commercial Real Estate investment fund
• AfricaWorks Real Estate Services (ARES) - Advisory & Development consultancy firm
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
As part of its growth plan, the Group is looking to recruit a “Marketing, Brand & Partnership Manager”, whose role will be to i) build Brand Awareness and ii) generate qualified leads. Your tasks will be:
• To tell AfricaWorks’ story
• To develop and execute marketing plans and content calendars across all business verticals - eg AfricaWorks, AWIP and ARES, tailored to each brand's distinct audience
• To maintain brand consistency and the shared visual identity system across the AfricaWorks family of brands
• To manage and grow the group's digital presence — websites, LinkedIn and other social channels, newsletters and press relations
• To identify, build and manage strategic partnerships (corporate, institutional, media and event partners) that support each entity's commercial objectives
• To produce marketing collateral, pitch materials and brand assets for client-facing and investor-facing teams (AWIP fundraising, ARES client pitches, AfricaWorks member acquisition)
• To plan and execute brand launches, events and PR campaigns and ongoing AfricaWorks community events
• To generate qualified leads across all marketing channels
• To manage the Marketing budget
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor / Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related field
• 5-to-10 years of relevant experience. B2B digital marketing experience is a strong plus. Journalism experience is also a strong plus.
• Demonstrated experience managing brand identity & content across multiple audiences or business lines
• Experience building and managing partnerships with corporates, institutions or media
• Africa knowledge or experiences strongly preferred
• Exceptional storyteller
• Excellent performance marketing track record
• Experience in the Hospitality sector is a plus
• Excellent command of AI
• Excellent written and visual communication skills; comfortable briefing designers and agencies
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and brands simultaneously
• Bilingual in French and English
• Based in Paris for the first 12 months, with relocation to West Africa thereafter; willing to travel
• Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomous, comfortable operating in a fast-moving, multi-entity environment
• Sales - oriented and go-getter attitude
