About this role
The primary responsibility is to drive the successful introduction of new products and manage the life cycle within the local sales companies. In addition to this, she/he has the power to steer and push the portfolio through the organization, influencing its strategic direction. The focus is on the products themselves, rather than the industry as a whole, and she/he plays a pivotal role in promoting products and indirectly supporting sales to high-potential new and existing customers. She/he will take charge of managing the portfolio in the market, overseeing phase in, phase out, positioning, strategy, growth programs, and competitiveness. Furthermore, she/he will act as a product and technology trainer, sharing expertise with others. While holding responsibility for turnover she/he won't have specific customer responsibility. Her/him understanding of target applications and solutions equips them to identify and develop business opportunities, ensuring that the market is thoroughly analyzed and a clear focus is defined.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics)
• 3-4 years in relevant business experience necessary
• Marketing or Business Management experience highly desirable
• Experience in Industrial Automation either in product marketing, market research or product management/development functions
• Experience to handle product life cycle management and implementation of product marketing activities
• Industry knowledge in Process Automation and/or Life Technologies domains is highly advantageous
