About this role
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to take strategic ownership of designated product families—from understanding where the market is heading to steering product direction, driving market success and ensuring long-term competitiveness.
This role requires more than managing products. It calls for the ability to connect customer needs, market and competition intelligence, technology trends and business performance to build differentiated, competitive and profitable products.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Market & Competitive Intelligence
Assess competition, technology trends, regulatory developments and evolving customer needs. Uncover unmet needs and translate insights into opportunities for today’s and tomorrow’s solutions.
2. Strategy Planning & Roadmap
Support the Business Unit’s strategic planning and product roadmap through fact-based market insights and comprehensive sales and business performance analysis.
3. Product Development
Translate customer requirements into product requirements, develop compelling business cases and value propositions, and play a key role throughout the stage-gate development process—from definition to market readiness.
4. Go-to-Market & Launch
Drive launch readiness covering pricing, competitive positioning, sales enablement and market introduction. Monitor post-launch performance and drive actions to accelerate market adoption.
5. Lifecycle & Portfolio Performance
Manage portfolio health throughout the product lifecycle. Drive product extensions and market adaptations, monitor competitive moves and initiate countermeasures to strengthen market position and profitable growth.
6. Portfolio Renewal
Prepare product phase-out, replacement and renewal recommendations, enabling structured transition to successor products while minimizing customer and business disruption.
What You Bring
• Around 5+ year of relevant experience in product management preferably in industrial technology, automation or B2B technology
• Strong strategic, analytical and commercial thinking, with the ability to turn market and sales data into actionable decisions
• Sound understanding of product development, commercialization and lifecycle management
• Strong customer orientation with the ability to identify both expressed and unmet needs
• Ability to collaborate and influence across customers, sales, R&D and international cross-functional teams
• A competitive mindset with strong ownership and a focus on business outcomes, not simply activities
What Success Looks Like
A differentiated and competitive portfolio that addresses relevant customer needs, achieves successful market adoption and contributes to measurable market results.
Understand the market. Drive product direction. Create customer value. Win in the market.
