About this role
About Carevo
Carevo connects Australians looking for disability and aged care support with the providers who can help them. Thousands of people land on our platform every month searching for care, and we get them to the right provider fast. We're a small, fast-moving team and this is a genuinely new role.
The role
We've built the demand side. What we don't have is a voice, and that's what you'd own.
You'll build Carevo's public presence across social, and you'll create the content that fills it: interviews with providers, a podcast, event coverage, participant stories. Then you take that same energy offline, running our events, meeting providers face to face, and showing up at conferences and hospitals. Online and in person feed each other, and you'd own both.
What you'll do
• Interview and chat to providers, support coordinators and participants, and turn those conversations into champions
• Attend podcasts and webinars for the sector
• Design and run our own events, from small provider roundtables to larger sector gatherings
• Attend industry conferences and represent Carevo well when you're there
• Meet providers face to face, understand their business, and keep them engaged long term
• Build relationships with hospitals, discharge teams, support coordinators and allied health networks
• Run our social channels day to day, and build a real following in the disability and aged care community
• Bring the sector's feedback back to the team so we build the right things
Who we're looking for
• High energy, and we mean it. You're enthusiastic, you talk easily to strangers, and people are glad when you walk into the room
• Comfortable on camera and behind a mic. You can hold an interview and make the other person sound good
• A natural relationship builder. Some people are just good at this, and if that's you, you already know it
• Happy being on the road and in person rather than behind a desk
• Organised enough to run an event or ship a weekly content schedule without someone chasing you
• Comfortable in a small team where you'll shape the role as you go
What's good to have
Experience in disability or aged care is good foundation but we can't teach you how to be the kind of person everyone wants to talk to. If you've been a brilliant community or content person in fitness, hospitality, events, media, nonprofits, or startups, we want to hear from you.
Why this role
• You'll be the first person in this seat, so you're building it rather than inheriting it. The work is also worth doing: every provider relationship you build and every story you tell ends up helping a family find care faster.
