About this role

Performance Marketing Manager

London | Hybrid – 2/3 days per week

£50,000–£55,000 + benefits

A fast-growing consumer business generating over £100m in annual revenue is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of paid acquisition and help drive its next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on performance role, with Google Search at its core. You'll manage and optimise significant paid search activity alongside Meta and other acquisition channels, with the freedom to test new ideas and identify where the next opportunities for growth could come from.

The business is already operating at significant scale but continues to grow quickly, giving you the opportunity to manage meaningful budgets while still having the autonomy and pace you'd expect from a scale-up environment.

What you'll be doing

• Taking hands-on ownership of Google Ads, with a major focus on Search
• Managing and developing Meta and other paid acquisition channels
• Managing significant budgets against commercial performance and growth targets
• Analysing performance, attribution and conversion data to identify opportunities
• Testing new campaigns, audiences, creative and emerging acquisition channels
• Working closely with creative, SEO, UX, product and data teams
• Helping improve tracking, first-party data and measurement
• Identifying CRO opportunities across the customer journey
• Managing performance across multiple products and customer audiences

What we're looking for

• Strong, recent hands-on Google Ads experience, particularly Search
• Experience managing and optimising meaningful performance marketing budgets
• Good working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with attribution, tracking and performance data
• A commercial mindset and confidence making decisions based on ROI and growth
• Curious and proactive, with a genuine interest in testing new channels and ideas
• Comfortable taking ownership and challenging how things are currently done
• Able to work autonomously while collaborating across a wider marketing team
• Experience within eCommerce, D2C or another performance-led consumer business would be beneficial

Why join?

This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit some campaigns and keep them ticking over.

You'll have real ownership of performance, the freedom to test new ideas and the backing to invest in opportunities where the commercial case makes sense.

You'll join a collaborative team across marketing, creative, UX, product and data, with a culture that encourages curiosity, experimentation and challenging the status quo.

For someone who loves being hands-on in the accounts but also wants the opportunity to influence the wider growth strategy, it's a great time to join.
