Oxford, Hybrid (2 days remote per week)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Our client is a well-established events and media business, delivering curated events, industry insight and educational resources to professionals worldwide.

The role:

They are looking for a Head of Marketing to act as the link between three marketing teams, Automation, Brand & Content and Design, turning separate activity into joined-up, multichannel campaigns that drive revenue and attendance. Reporting to the CMO, this is a hands-on leadership role for a marketing expert who brings best practice and fresh thinking, but who also rolls up their sleeves to make campaigns happen and takes ownership of the results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build multichannel campaign plans across email, social, web and paid, bringing each brand, product and event together into one clear story
• Connect the Automation, Brand & Content and Design teams around shared plans
• Partner with the event teams to align marketing activity with each event's goals and key milestones
• Drive delivery end to end, keeping campaigns on track
• Own the numbers, tracking performance against KPIs such as registrations, MQLs and MQL-to-SQL conversion, and adjusting activity to improve results
• Oversee partnerships that support events and brands, including media partners, associations, affiliates and speaker advocacy
• Work closely with the Sales team so campaigns support commercial goals and convert leads effectively

Requirements:

• A well-rounded marketing leader with broad experience across channels, including email, social, web and paid
• A proven track record of planning and delivering integrated, multichannel campaigns that hit their targets
• Hands-on and proactive, a self-starter comfortable owning delivery and running several campaigns at once
• A great people leader, coach and mentor, who enjoys supporting and enabling the development of others
• Comfortable with data and performance, setting KPIs, tracking them, and acting on what they show
• Familiar with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot a plus)
• Experience managing or leading a high-performing team
• B2B and/or events marketing experience is a bonus, but not essential
• Comfortable travelling for work as needed, both nationally and internationally
